I highly recommend the BBC documentary: Hokusai: Old Man, Crazy to Paint. One of the world's greatest artist, David Hockney, discusses his work, along with art historians and other Hokusai experts.

This documentary is gorgeous, informative, and inspiring. When Hokusai was 80, he said words to the effect of "you haven't seen anything yet. When I am 100, I shall truly be a great artist." When he was 90, just before he died, he completed a valedictory painting. The documentary clearly explains why the painting would have been impossible in his primary medium of woodblock prints.

If there is anything that would convince me to want to live to be 90, it would be my love of programming.
