Thanks for the link - I've vaguely followed Knuth for many decades. When I was a young Teenager, his book 'Computer Algorithms' was one of the most technical books I had ever 'wow'ed over. And TeX/LaTeX/literate programming was sort-of how I came to Leo.

I was delighted to see him mention Tristram Shandy, one of my favourite books of all time.

Thanks for this link. And here is an obit of the mathematician John Conway. Time to start learning about surreal numbers. Lot's of links to Knuth.
