Unless serious new problems arise with recent the recent critical bug
fixes, I plan to release Leo 4.7 b2 this Friday, and rc1 a week
later. I plan no "dangerous" changes to the trunk until Leo 4.7 final
goes out the door.

So please do test the trunk if you can. If you feel adventurous, now
is a good time to start. Otherwise, I recommend waiting a few days...

Well, there were unplanned dangerous changes :-)

Rev 2772 fixes several more file-related bugs. They could cause
obscure problems, but they had to be fixed. Please test the trunk as
much as possible, and report any problem immediately.

My to-do list for b2 contains no programming tasks, just
administrative and documentation tasks. Barring last-minute bugs, I
promise not to change Leo significantly until b2 goes out the door
this Friday.

I'll make the .deb when it happens, as usual.

One motivational thing:

You should really install the .deb, even if you plan on using the
trunk. It's good to have a "known good" /usr/bin/leo around when the
trunk suddenly breaks and you need to do something "right now'.

It's also good to have that version around for developing leo
yourself, when you are doing unsafe changes.
