I have moved the tentative release date for 6.8.9 to Friday, May 29.

The recent work on abbreviations removes something (the double-comma Easter Egg) that could confuse newbies (or long-time Leonistas!) Félix and I agree that this change merits an earlier release.

Please continue testing the "devel" branch.

Thanks! But I 'd like to suggest we push it back to mid june so I can do #4683 :)

No problem. Considering your progress on PR #4696, I've rescheduled Leo 6.8.9 for June 5.
