Hello Leo team,

As Edward suggested, I'm moving this discussion from the GH issue to here.

I wanted to update you that I've added the Leo Guru to Gurubase. Gurubase is a platform that aggregates open-source tools to help developers find information quickly. Leo Guru uses the data from this repo and the data from docs to answer questions. I hope you find it useful.

Here is the link to the Leo Guru: https://gurubase.io/g/leo

I believe Leo users or new starters would find it useful to have a badge or a link to Gurubase in the README.md. I've prepared two examples below:

Example 1 - Just a badge:

Example 2 - Separate Section:✨ Ask Leo Guru

If you don’t want to get lost in the documentation, you can ask Leo Guru directly. It’s an AI that focuses on addressing your questions about Leo.

If you find it useful, I would be happy to open a PR for this.

Additionally, if you want me to disable Leo Guru in Gurubase, just let me know that's totally fine.

Bes,
Kursat

This page simply contains links to Leo's documentation and repo. Why would anyone find such a page useful?

Again, why would such a link be useful?

I see no AI in the link.

Gurubase looks fishy to me. All my scam alarms are screaming at me.

No way am I going to consider any PR until I know a lot more.

Additionally, if you want me to disable Leo Guru in Gurubase, just let me know that's totally fine.

Either explain yourself or remove Leo Guru.

Hey Edward,

Just forget about this contribution. I’ll remove Leo Guru from Gurubase. This isn’t the type of conversation I would choose to engage in, whether online or in real life.

Cheers,
Kursat

Thank you.

This conversation tried to establish your bona fides. As you probably know, all GitHub projects are under attack by bad actors. Protecting Leo will be the most important task for Leo's devs after I am gone.

FWIW, there was an AI at that gurubase page before it was taken down.  There was a prompt bar at the top.  I asked it yesterday how to change Leo's layout, and it was not super helpful, but it did at least correctly identify myLeoSettings.leo as the place to go to tweak settings.  Before it hallucinated some settings that didn't exist, of course.

Thanks for the clarification. I must have missed that prompt.

I missed it too.  BTW, ChatGPT in its current incarnation can be moderately helpful with Leo questions (sometimes).  You have to work with it carefully to keep it focused, and don't assume its suggestions are correct as is.
