The Control-Something keys in leoSettings.leo/@settings/@keys are
mapped to Command-Something with Mac OS X.

Can I change this behavior? Or, can I use Control key with Leo/Mac OS
X?

Do you know about the @bool swap_mac_keys setting?

True (legacy): Translate control-only keys to command keys on the
Mac. False (recommended): No translation.

I have my own myLeoSettings.leo which is exactly the same as
leoSettings.leo, and I modified this file.
I tried to find the @bool swap_mac_keys option as I asked at the
other
thread (http://groups.google.com/group/leo-editor/browse_thread/
thread/
f1ad9084d3afd097), but I found nothing, so at @settings/command
options, I just added the option.

@bool swap_mac_keys = True

After that,
1. With C-I key, I added the "@bool swap_mac_keys = True" as
headline.
2. Relaunch Leo.
3. Tried to use Control-A, but I got 'A' printed.

It doesn't seem that I can't make @bool swap_mac_keys work on my Mac.

This is the Leo environment that I use.

This probably should work, but it might well be causing problems.

I recommend putting only your personal changes into myLeoSettings.leo.

Isn't the idea to set it to false, so that translation that breaks the
behavior isn't done?

I'm also getting this problem.

my @bool swap_mac_keys is set to false, but I'm still experiencing Leo as only listening to the Command key
