Edward posted 11/9/2010 that

"It is also possible to show html code rendered as html: just put the
html in a node whose headline starts with @html. To edit the html,
change @html to @@html and reselect the node. "

I'm on 4.8 and I can seem to make this work as described.
Anyome has any idea ?

thanks

I suggest downloading a daily snapshot. You will find the link at:
http://webpages.charter.net/edreamleo/download.html

HansBKK suggests that the download page should say something like the
following. I agree, but haven't gotten around to adding these words::

The core Leo code is always being improved and developed, using a
rigorous unit-testing blah-blah that ensures that the daily commits
are as bug-free as possible. In fact (insert #% or qualifier) of the
time, downloading the most recent "nightly snapshot" of the
development code from our version control system Bazaar (link to here
http://www.greygreen.org/leo/) is going to give you code that is just
as stable and much more up-to-date than the most recent "release"
available here (link to http://sourceforge.net/projects/leo/files/OldFiles/),
which most Leonistas would at this point consider already outdated. If
you are just checking Leo out, feel free to use the latter release
download if it makes you feel more secure, but once you've decided to
work with Leo on a regular basis, we highly recommend regularly
keeping your installation up to date with the most recent snapshot.

HTH.

I'm not sure if the instructions you're using are current. Try
enabling the viewrendered plugin and then issuing the viewrendered
command. It should open a new pane with a rendered version of the html.

Hi Terry,

Yes you should upgrade. With Leo 4.9.1 putting html content in a node,
typing [alt]-[x] to bring up the mini-buffer command (at bottom), and
then typing "vr" or "viewrendered" will open up a new pane with
rendered html. (tip: type "view[tab]" to see list of all the view*
commands). The VR pane will be updated in near realtime as the body
pane is edited.

@html in headline not required, and restructured format is also
supported, see http://webpages.charter.net/edreamleo/plugins.html#viewrendered-py

View rendered is a plugin, usually enabled by default, but you may
need to make sure it is enabled in LeoSettngs.leo (see Help menu).

See http://webpages.charter.net/edreamleo/download.html for how to get
current leo-editor packages.

(Note to Edward: this page is kind of hidden from the Install Guide at
http://webpages.charter.net/edreamleo/installing.html).

cheers,

-matt

whups, I see many replies already in another thread. Dunno why gmail
decided to show this to me as an unanswered question. (I _thought_ it
was unusual no one had responded after 6 days had elapsed!)
