Another newbie question:

I noticed a little x in a box, in the upper right corner of the body pane.

I clicked it, and that closed the body pane, rather as I expected.  So far, so good.

But then the only way I could find to get the body pane back in view was to close and restart Leo.

I tried several commands that purport to toggle in or out of the body pane and similar, and from what I could tell, I actually was moving my editing cursor into the body pane that I could no longer see, and if I blindly entered more text there, it would show up (after a few tenths of a second delay) in the render pane.   But still no visible body pane.

I am running Leo 6.0-b1, master branch, build 445dfa149e 2019-06-18 09:45:56 -0500, on a Gentoo Linux with xfce, openrc, ...

Thanks!

All docks with an x (close button) can be re-opened by right-clicking on the title bar of any dock and ticking the box for that dock.

HTH,

Chris

That works - thanks!

(In case someone is ever bored, having the same "[ ] Render, [ ] Tabs, [ ] Body || [ ] Iconbar [ ] Minibuffer" menu that pop's up on that title bar right click also appear off the menubar would have saved me some lost time ... though whether the time to code that would be less time than total time that newbies loose on that detail is not something I'd hazard a guess at.)

Newbies are free to add Issues to consider. Chances are if you're confused so are others, and in this case I didn't know about the r-click easter egg menu either  ;-)

cheers,

Matt
