It is now possible to switch between light and dark themes on the fly without restarting the application.

The Mac version is now signed and notarized by Apple (I eventually bent to Apple money extortion) so you can download and install it on a Mac without annoying security warnings.

I'm in the process of doing the same for Windows.

I eventually signed the Windows application too. If you use Windows please re-download the installation file from the same link:

Unfortunately Windows is more pedantic than Mac. It is not enough to sign the application but it must also be downloaded and installed by a "unknown" number of people in order to gather enough reputation, I read somewhere around 3000 downloads. If I had so many customers I would probably stop working entirely.

Alternatively Microsoft asks developers €400 per year to bypass Windows smart screen warning straightaway but, unless a generous donor happily hands me €400, this will never happen.

If you put it on Microsoft Store you can sign it with store certificate which is free and there is no "smart" screen. I think dev account is $25

it seems I got certificate reputation quite quickly so the current release for Microsoft installs without warnings from SmartScreen.
