I've been using NordVPN for quite some time and their service is pretty good with many server across the globe. The only problem though was that they decided to drop PPTP and L2TP which are mandatory on XP as they are the only two that work with the OS without using external things like OpenVPN. They claimed that those protocols were old and outdated and "not secure enough anymore" so they dropped them, so I ditched the company. A friend of mine had the chance to get a coupon for a very discounted lifetime subscription at FastestVPN, however this service is not very good. I mean, don't get me wrong, I use it on a daily basis, but the servers I'm interested in (the UK ones) are almost always full, so I have to switch to the States. As a pro thing, though, they kept each and every legacy protocol including PPTP, L2TP, IPSec Xauth PSK and they also support new protocols like OpenVPN. I think I can say that they're alright. A friend of mine also went to Mainland China to the city of Qingdao and used it there as my subscription covers many devices. Although many VPN providers were blocked, FastestVPN managed to connect and make him access the internet. If you wanna go with FastestVPN, just remember one thing: they're alright, but definitely NOT the fastest as their server are overcrowded and slow at times.
As one final note: please DO NOT use free VPNs or proxy, 'cause you don't know who owns them; in the best case it's some enormous company trying to collect your data and sell it for marketing purposes, in the worse case it's some hacker waiting to steal your bank account or credit card or just your facebook account and sell it in the deep web. (I've seen this happening many years ago with suspicious "free proxy servers" too many times...).
I know it's an old thread and I've asked the question here before...
But now I have another problem, half a year ago I moved to Austria. Before that I connected windscribe, but it does not work well here for streaming. Many sites recommend express and nordvpn, are they really that good ?
Tor works too (if you download the appropriate version for XP) But if you want to use it with your Firefox installation, just go to proxy settings and make it same as the Tor Browser's. (Tor must be running too)

I would like to ask you why ESET does not allow the purchase of ESET Security Ultimate license for one device? I myself believe that many home users would upgrade their subscription to ESET Security Ultimate if it was only enabled for one device. I believe that ESET would also gain from this because more subscribers would choose ESET Security Ultimate. I was very happy when you announced VPN in future products, but you forced your subscribers to buy a license for 5 devices (even though we don't need it). I know that you have already explained that the VPN provider is an external partner (and now I don't know if the external partner requires a minimum license for 5 devices) or is such a license policy from ESET.
I hope you will give some thought to the possibility of purchasing a license of ESET Security Ultimate for 1 device. However, since you yourself are an employee of the ESET company (you are part of the ESET collective), I believe that if you forwarded the message of your subscribers or two users to the right department, there might be a change. Because I don't see that you're crazy to buy something you don't need. (as I already mentioned above, the policy of the company Intel, AMD, Nvidia, etc. would be such that you have to buy several pieces of hardware and they would not offer you to buy only one product - this can be for companies, but not for home users).
I hope you will be able to make a proposal to your marketing department to consider purchasing a license of ESET Security Ultimate even for just one device. However, I am otherwise very happy with ESET and would very much like to upgrade to ESET Security Ultimate (I currently have an ESET Smart Security Premium license for one device).
I totally agree with Damjan. I would consider upgrading from premium to ultimate if it wouldn't be linked to using 5 licenses. It's just that it's simple, I don't have five devices to secure. I have ESET for one computer and if we add my mobile, that's two devices (although I have no interest in mobile antivirus). Either I start securing the TV, fridge and microwave or there's no way I'm going to use all the licences.

As a beta tester for Eset I don't plan to leave but I worry some other users might move to completion that can offer what they want. The funny thing is you have what they want but you've just not made it viable for them
