Dear all,

It’s my pleasure to advertise a paper lead by Lilan Yang where we extend and apply the capabilities of lenstronomy in the cluster regime:
We have a discussion of what lensing actually can constrain and how on practice we deal with it when reconstructing imaging data of extended sources.
Lilan wrote an extension package ‘lenstruction’ atop of lenstronomy to facilitate the source reconstruction and differential lens modeling in the cluster regime. You can find the package here:
This is a first paper in a planed series and you can expect a further development and maintenance of cluster application with lenstronomy through lenstruction.
If you have questions about it, please get in touch with Lilan.

There are several packages in the works that make use of lenstronomy for various more specific science cases. I will update the readme to make extension packages prominently visible. If you have your own notebooks or packaged application of lenstronomy and have it publicly available, please let me know and I am happy to add it to the list of affiliated packages and wrappers.

Congratulations Lilan and I am looking forward to seeing more applications of lenstronomy/lenstruction on the cluster regime!

Best,
Simon
