Dear lenstronomers,

the lenstronomy development has moved from my personal GitHub repository to a Github organization https://github.com/lenstronomy/lenstronomy.

All links to the previous repository location are automatically redirected to the new location. When you use git clone, git fetch, or git push on a transferred repository, these commands will redirect to the new repository location or URL. However, to avoid confusion, we strongly recommend updating any existing local clones to point to the new repository URL. You can do this by using git remote on the command line:

$ git remote set-url origin new_url

A few changes that were also made during the move:
- the lenstronomy license has been changed from MIT to BSD 3: https://github.com/lenstronomy/lenstronomy/blob/main/LICENSE
- the lenstronomy copyright has been changed from (c) Simon Birrer and contributors to (c) lenstronomy developers
- we have set up a lenstro...@googlegroups.com mailing list to communicate with the developers (currently Anowar, Daniel and myself)
- the lenstronomy_extensions repo has been moved to the project and been renamed to lenstronomy-tutorials: https://github.com/lenstronomy/lenstronomy-tutorials
- the structure of the tutorial notebooks has been grouped in folders https://github.com/lenstronomy/lenstronomy-tutorials/tree/main/Notebooks

There might be links that still don’t work or other hick ups that might have happened during the move.
If you have questions/comments/feedback, please let us know!

We are looking forward to continue the development of lenstronomy!

Best,
Simon, Anowar, Daniel

PS: don’t forget to vote on the logo! Can’t wait to have the project and the documentation equipped with a nice graphic :)
