Hi LensKit users!

We're pleased to announce the release of LensKit 0.8.1. Release notes are here: https://github.com/lenskit/lkpy/releases/tag/0.8.0

Highlights include improved performance for item-item ALS algorithm, improved consistency for the fit API, and a random recommender.

In this release, we have dropped support for Python 3.5. LensKit 0.6.1 is the last version to work on 3.5. The current test and build matrix covers Python 3.6, 3.7, and 3.8. We continue with our policy of supporting the Python versions included with the most recent long-term-support or enterprise release of popular Linux distributions (our watch list includes RHEL/CentOS, Debian, and Ubuntu). LensKit works best with Anaconda, however.

Hope you enjoy!
