“No
matter how they choose to cast their ballot tomorrow, voters can be
confident that their vote will be counted and their voice will be
heard,” said Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson. “Election officials
across the state continue to work hard in service of democracy and are
prepared to conduct another successful election.”
Voters can prepare to vote in person by viewing their sample ballot at Michigan.gov/Vote.
They are encouraged to bring identification with them when they vote,
however they will be allowed to vote if they sign a sworn affidavit at
the polling place if they do not have ID with them. Voters who requested
and received an absentee ballot and would like to vote at their polling
place instead should bring their absentee ballot with them, although
they will be able to vote without it by signing an affidavit that voids
the absentee ballot.
