Oxfam consultancy opportunity: monitoring citizenship programme in Tanzania

Oxfam is looking for someone to do a piece of in depth monitoring work in Tanzania for several months between now and September.  They are piloting a number of different initiatives to catalyse active citizenship, predominately in Shinyanga region but also working on the existing activism in Loliondo, which are Oxfam GB's two programme areas.  The pilots include farmer animation, student democractic leadership, creating active musicians, and election promises tracking and have been in operation since November.  They are carrying out outcome mapping but would like some more in depth observation of behaviour in the communities where the different pilots operate, to provide information to take decisions in September on which pilots to scale up and which to drop.
