COORDINATION*
The UNDP National Implementation Capacities (NIC) project is designed to
strengthen country capacity for procurement, financial management,
monitoring and evaluation and program management to allow partner
countries to achieve their development goals. UNDP launched the UN
Procurement Capacity Development Centre (PCDC) in January 2008 as part
of the NIC project in response to the growing demand for a resource
centre to support procurement capacity development. With ongoing support
of UNDP core funds and development partners, the NIC project and PCDC
has continued to enhance its website www.unpcdc.org
<http://www.unpcdc.org/> to provide a unique comprehensive global
resource for strengthening procurement. The project is seeking a
consultant to: develop systems and procedures for content management of
PCDC website; develop PCDC online forum; and develop knowledge products
for National Implementation Capacities.
