Lemnos Associate

Hope you had a happy new year!  We're looking to hire our first associate in early 2017, and before we post a public job listing we'd like to start with the Lemnos founder network to see if there's someone that you know of who may be a great fit.  Ideal candidate is a few years out of school w/ an engineering degree and some experience in consulting, startups or finance.  Please let me know if anybody comes to mind.

Lemnos Associate

The Lemnos team is small, focused, and mighty. We are looking for an associate with passion and intelligence who wants to learn from and contribute to the best hardware VC in the business. You will not be in a corner doing busy work; you will be with the Lemnos team and portfolio helping them succeed. You will look back on your years at Lemnos as some of the most challenging and exciting years of your life, ones that positioned you to be the master of your destiny.

Do

• Distill what is happening in our world (funding events, company news and significant changes, macro-economic trends) and give Lemnos an action plan to react and capitalize on new opportunities
• Screen inbound investment proposals
• Improve our institutional data warehouse, compiling and synthesizing portfolio knowledge
• Research emerging technology, economic, cultural, and social trends to refine our forward investment thesis.
• Coordinate our mentor program and VC office hours

Who

• Undergraduate degree from top engineering school
• One to three years experience in consulting, startups, and/or finance
• Comfortable reviewing engineering designs, business models, and co-writing articles to place on Medium, TechCrunch, etc.
