This tool will automatically recognize your operating system. Moreover, it will scan corrupted, damaged, incompatible, or outdated drivers and look for their latest manufacturer-recommended versions.
Once you identify the problem behind faulty_hardware_corrupted_page, choose the most appropriate fix. Nonetheless, whatever the issue, make sure to keep your OS and drivers updated to prevent BSODs in the future.
If you have already checked the Internet for help, you have seen that this is not just an "HP" issue -- the problem has surfaced on several kinds of hardware and the problem has been around for a while.
After a "long time" using Windows 10, it is likely you have by now updated (all) your HP Drivers to their Windows 10 versions. If you have not done so, or if it has been awhile since you checked your Drivers, you can check and update your Drivers from your computer's Website Driver support page:
If the issue pops up when you are reading online content or perhaps trying to download PDF files, make sure you have not only your HP Drivers updated / installed >> consider: Even if you are generally using a different PDF Reader as your default, the latest version of Adobe Reader DC is necessary for several kinds of tasks. You can download and install the latest Adobe Reader DC.
You might consider adding your voice (opinion) to the aforementioned forum post . Because the issue is apparently not HP-centric (just a problem on HP computers), it might be worth asking Microsoft about it.
No recent hardware or software changes since this started except I installed HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI update and HP Connection Optimiser from the HP Support Assistant under the Action Log tab. I tried to find an uninstall in Windows for the Diagnostics piece but not listed and now in Action Log it says the update is no longer available.
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Solution Accepted" on this Post and it will also help other community members with similar issue.

Support via messenger now looking into issue. They suggested motherboard or RAM replacement but they seem to be just guessing. Given this is the second exact same laptop with BSODs I suggest there is a faulty batch. I want a new laptop.
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
MiniTool OEM program enable partners like hardware / software vendors and relative technical service providers to embed MiniTool software with their own products to add value to their products or services and expand their market.
When we boot our computer as usual, we may go crazy if we see faulty hardware corrupted page on computer. So, we are going to know about it and also get some ways to fix this faulty hardware corrupted page in this article. And get the MiniTool software to keep data safe.
The first time we encounter a Blue Screen of Death that may make us feel panic and lose our heads. We may worry about losing important data. To avoid that, we should back up files instead of doing nothing.
As a piece of backup software, MiniTool ShadowMaker can restore our data as soon as possible when data loss and it can provide disaster recovery solution for PCs. But its functionality is more than this.
Step 1: First of all, we need to download MiniTool ShadowMaker Trial for 30-days free use if we use the software for the first time. Then install and launch it. Click Keep Trial in the initial interface. We can choose to connect local PC or remote PC (We need to type the IP) by Connect button.
Step 3: Click Destination and choose an internal drive or external drive to store system image (We can even back up to Network computer). We strongly recommend storing the system image backup in xternal drive so that we can avoid data loss when facing computer crash. Then click OK.
Windows has a utility tool called Windows Memory Diagnostic. It can help us detect memory problem of our computer. We may hard to know we are facing the RAM problems without any diagnostic tool. But the Windows Memory Diagnostic can help us a lot.
Installation of Intel Management Engine Interface (IMEI) driver is out of date or incorrect may be a culprit behind the Faulty Hardware Corrupted Page. We can update IMEI to fix the Blue Screen of Death error.
Step 2. We can see Turn on fast startup (recommended) at bottom of the window. Uncheck on the box to disable Fast Startup function and click Save changes. Then restart the computer. It will work if the Fast Startup is the reason behind the problem.
Faulty or incompatible drivers are the major reason behind Blue Screen of Death errors. Especially, Display driver problem often leads to BSOD error. That is why we encounter blue screen error after a Windows update in most cases.
Actually, we can check all drivers list of our computer by Windows Device Manager. Sometimes, it can help us to discern the problematic drivers and we can check for the latest updates by one click through it.
Step 2. Here we can see all of drivers list of our PC in the pop-up window. Find the drivers we want to update in the Device Manager, then right click on it and select Update Driver Software.
The ultimate method is overkill, but we must choose it if no one of the above ways works for us. Update or Reinstall operating system can fix any system related problems. So, it can fix corrupted or lost system files problem too.
A Blue Screen of Death, technically known as a stop error, is never a happy experience for Windows users. Your computer crashes without warning, losing your work, or other data in the process. The faulty hardware corrupted page error is one such critical error that can strike without warning.
The faulty hardware corrupted page error (Windows stop code 0x0000012B) covers several different hardware issues, but refers to a single-bit error. A single-bit error occurs when a single bit (a minute piece of data) is incorrectly changed during the transmission of data. While it sounds like a tiny issue, the result can cause your system hardware to malfunction, resulting in the faulty hardware corrupted page stop code.
The good news is that there are several fixes available for the faulty hardware corrupted page stop code. The bad news is that Windows stop code 0x0000012B can indicate your system hardware is failing. Specifically, the stop code is often associated with faulty RAM.
If you haven't already, restart your computer. Although infuriating to hear, "Have you tried switching it off and on again" really does fix a lot of problems. Before delving into the more advanced fixes, restart your computer and see if that resolves the issue.
As the faulty hardware corrupted page error relates to your system hardware, a common fix is reseating your system hardware. If you knock or bump your system accidentally, you might jolt your RAM or graphics card out of position.
The faulty hardware corrupted page stop code can indicate issues with your system files. The Windows System File Check (SFC) is an integrated Windows system tool you use to check your Windows installation files for errors.
Before running the SFC command, you need to check that it is completely functional. You don't want SFC to miss an error because it wasn't working properly, to begin with. To do this, we use DISM, the Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool.
Like SFC, CHKDSK is a Windows tool you can use to verify your Windows 10 file system. Wondering what the difference between CHKDSK and SFC is? CHKDSK scans your entire drive for errors, while SFC scans Windows system files specifically.
At times, a new Windows drive will upset your hardware and cause a fault. Windows 10 now handles most driver updates, so faulty drivers are becoming less of an issue. But that doesn't mean a dodgy driver cannot come and cause havoc.
Now, type device manager in the Start menu search bar and select the best match. Head down the list and check for an error symbol. If there is nothing, your driver status is likely not the source of the issue.
Several tools let you update all of your system drivers at the same time. The usefulness of these tools is debatable, especially as many try to force you to pay for freely available drivers. If you would like to know more, check out the best free tools you can use to fix any Windows 10 issue.
The Windows Memory Diagnostic tool is a Windows system tool you can use to analyze your RAM for errors. However, it isn't the best option for the job. That title goes to MemTest86, a free, standalone memory testing tool for x86 machines.
You boot MemTest86 from a USB flash drive (or bootable disc) and leave it to check your system RAM. A MemTest86 takes a while to complete. For a full evaluation of your RAM, you should run at least two passes (that's two complete cycles). As a single pass can take hours, the analysis process can take a while. However, MemTest86 will uncover any serious RAM issues during the process, so it is worth the wait.
