It has been almost 3 weeks. I have yet to find anyone reporting that they have the board working with the Lelylan cloud service. Is there something we can do to help you fix this?

Hi there,

sorry for the delay. Yes, we received the email with the sketch. We've scheduled a day to test it out next week, so that we can get back with some more useful information pretty soon.

All the best.

Hi everyone,

I'm happy you are making some progresses on the usage of the EZ.
I'm sorry about the fact that the Made in Italy didn't send us any documentation, but we're trying to force them to give us all the "docs" can help you guys.

@CallMeYaz, can you send us your sketch. This way we can test it on our hardware and give you some feedback on the problem you are facing. And congrats for being able to make it up and running. We're looking forward to create a good piece of docs, also without the eventual partecipation of Made in Italy.

All the best.

Hi CallMeYaz,

Sorry I cannot help you there.
I got the hardware to do my own thing with and not to connect to Lelylan.
However, now that you have the basic connectivity going I should think/hope that Lelylan support can help you out here.
They are pretty active on this group so here's hoping....

Thanks for the help. I am able to publish updates to Lelylan, but cannot receive anything from them. Maybe it can't get through my firewall?

Right you geniuses...
The temp sensor is on A3
The relay is on 7
The settings for the Sparkfun libraries at: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12072 are:
#define CC3000_INT      2   // Needs to be an interrupt pin (D2/D3)
#define CC3000_EN       8   // Can be any digital pin
#define CC3000_CS       10  // Preferred is pin 10 on Uno

I have the wi-fi etc working

Hi,

I've just received an EZboard WiFi. I've followed the steps presented here:
http://lelylan.github.io/lab-projects/ezcontrol-light/

Everything works until the board is supposed to initialize the wifi connection. The serial output gets stuck after these messages:
[CC3000] Hi there
[CC3000] Init the WiFi connection

I've been waiting at least 10 min, so something does not work correctly. At that point, no wifi settings has been sent to "cc3000", so that should not be the issue.

Hi there,

unluckily the tests we made with the EZ we received from Made in Italy one year ago is working fine.

We are trying to understand what's wrong with the new version, but it's not an easy task without the new board, and we're sorry about this. Made in Italy is not answering and this doesn't make any task easier.

We'll give you an update by the end of the week.
All the best and thanks to everyone helping us on fixing the issue.

Hi there,

we've been working on making the final documentation as complete as we could to make your EZControl work with Lelylan.

A special thanks to Mick (aka otoolo) which was great enough to take the time to play with the EZ and solve the main issues. Thanks.

Everything is now working. This means you can control your EZ from Lelylan and you can reflect the physical changes to the dashboard. We also added info about the PINS: Relay on port 7 and temperature sensor on port A3. The Arduino IDE board must be the version >~ 1.0.6.

If you guys can test it out and eventually issue new problems, we'll improve even more the documentation.
The documentation is on Github, so feel free to send us a pull request for any improvement.

All the best and thanks a lot for all your support
