I received the two boards yesterday. Great !
I was not able to connect them to ARDUINO IDE.
1) First of all (on windws 7 64bit) the board is not recognised automatically on uSB as Arduino-usb port.
2) I have tried a lot of workaround with manually installation of Arduino Uno Rev3 USB driver.
3) Conclusion I’m not able to load the example sketch.

Hi Antonio,

I'm sorry you are experiencing these problems.

In this case Luigi of Made in Italy is the person who should answer to this question, as in Lelylan we can easily solve the cloud connectivity related problems, but not the hardware connectivity ones.

Anyway, the Lelylan hardware team is now making some tests and we'll get back when the problem will be solved.
For the moment what I can tell you is that for our internal tests we used a linux machine and the following board settings.
  • Tools > Board - Arduino Pro or Pro Mini
  • Tools > Processor - ATmega328 (3.3V, 8MHz)
Please, let us know if they work.
We're looking forward to make this piece of hardware work for everyone.

Hi Antonio,

I read on the Indiegogo campaign comments that with the CH340 driver, W7 recognizes the board. I tried it and it recognized it. You can download it from here: http://javacolors.blogspot.com.es/2014/08/dccduino-usb-drivers-ch340-ch341-chipset.html

In the same comment they say to identify the board in the IDE as arduino Pro/mini , processor= atmega 328 3.3v.

I hope it helps you.

Regards.

If you're still having issues, try a different USB cable.
This simple solution worked for me.

Hi Antonio,

did you finally manage to solve this ISSUE?
Let us know, we're also trying to make it work, but with some problems.

I know this is an old thread, but I had this same problem as well, and had tried most of the solutions listed on various forums to do with new CH34x drivers, but none of them worked (with Mac OSX El Capitan).

What seems to have finally done the job is a driver that comes with Codebender at https://codebender.cc/.

Took me some hours to try the various options and I was close to reverting back to Windows when this last option made the USB port visible. Seems to take forever to actually upload anything from the Arduino IDE, but at least the port is now visible, and I can upload a sketch from Codebender.

Kudos to Codebender !

Dave
