At the centre of the ICAO TRIP Strategy is the key proposition for States, ICAO and all stakeholders to address, individually and collectively: that a holistic, coherent, coordinated approach to the interdependent elements of traveller identification management is essential, encompassing the following elements:
Traveller information services are of high value for travellers who want to plan or adapt their journey depending on the actual situation. They improve comfort and efficiency, but also contribute to better safety and less environmental impact.
Typically, there are two kinds of traveller information: static information, which is known in advance and changes infrequently, and real-time information, which changes frequently also due to unpredicted events. Information is used before departure (pre-trip information) or while travelling (on-trip information). Information can be delivered via navigation devices, radio, the Internet, phones or signs (variable message signs, diversion signs).
The Traffic Message Channel (TMC) has become the most successful traffic information service and its development has been co-funded by the European Commission. It is a specific application of the FM Radio Data System (RDS) used for broadcasting real-time traffic and weather information. Data messages are received and decoded by a TMC-equipped radio or navigation system to offer dynamic route guidance. Thanks to TMC technology, users can receive traffic information in their own language. But RDS-TMC is not yet capable of offering cross-border traffic information.
Core services include multi-modal traveller information, accident and event warning, traffic condition and travel time information, speed limit information, weather information and public transport information
I immediately fell in love with the Knights costumes, that you can make with the traveller cape pattern, when I saw the pictures. It was a lot of work, because of my choise of fabric every piece has a lining... But it was worth it. Can't wait to see my two sons in it and see their reaction! (It's a Christmas present). The tutorial of the traveller cape was very clear. Thank you!
Needed a witches cape for Halloween that covered the shoulders and has an ideal drape . Made it of velvet lined with cotton. Gave it only one toggle and large button to make it easier for the child to secure. It really did come out exactly as I had in mind. Pattern easy to follow due to clear instructions.
Absolutely wonderful pattern. Very simple pattern pieces. Easy to modify to whatever you need. I made a knights costume for my 4 yr old sons birthday. I planned to make it unlined, but lined it in the end. I made a second cape layer to have a collar for his "helmet". Super easy to incorporate into the make. Super happy with outcome. I used a heavy cotton corduroy.
My first try at this pattern sold immediately online as a kid's Halloween costume, it's that cute! I bought the pattern years ago with every intention to make it, and didn't get around to it until this season. I had a question about attaching the hood, and the design/tech team got back to me right away....turns out I had an older version of the pattern, and they updated it for me AND transferred my purchase history from all of the Twig and Tale designs I'd bought through Etsy, over to the main T&T account page. Outstanding customer service!!!
At Jetstar, we have independent traveller requirements for all our passengers. If you do not meet the independent traveller requirements, you will need to travel with an accompanying passenger who can assist you.

An accompanying passenger can travel with up to four children on a Jetstar flight. This can include up to two infants, but one of the infants must be booked as a child with their own seat. See What do I need to know about travelling with my infant.
