If you find someone, please let me know. I had looked a long time ago without luck. Mostly because the cast majority of stam is imported from Israel and you have to find someone there. There aren't too many people here writing lower end stam. Most of the soferim
are really more socherim. Also, when did I occasionally inquire, no one knew what I was talking about.
I'd actually be interested in getting a non-Esther megillah, which was even more problematic. The megillot sold here that I saw were all in particular format that I didn't like (taller and fewer columns). When I asked about something in a different format,
I was told "this is the way it has to be," which isn't true. Then when I asked about writing it according to the Keter Aram Tzova, they asked, "you mean you want a Sefardi megillah"? (The latter issue presented itself even when I spoke to a socher when I was
in Israel this past summer.)
