Windows10 build 18946 is an internal build of the Windows 10 May 2020 Update. It was unintentionally distributed to users enrolled into the Fast Ring on 24 July 2019,[1] along with two compiles of build 18947 from the rs_xbox and rs_prerelease branches.[1]
Additional source packages for the x86 version of this build (featuring components for nearly all available client editions in the British English, French and German languages) were uploaded onto the Internet Archive on 1 February 2024.[2]
This build notably features a completely redesigned Start menu and a new Control Center design that expands as notifications are received. Both have a similar look to later implementations in Windows 10X and Windows 11, but are disabled by default. The new Start menu, if enabled, replaces the All Apps view of the previous one and also features a version string of 1.0.19155.2 / Release displayed at the top left of it. Unlike in Windows 10X and 11, though, it can also be launched while in Tablet mode.
I'm looking for some ideas on how to model slanted walls (out of plumb vertically). In the attached picture, the area to the right of the entry is what I am attempting to model. Let me know if you guys or gals have any tricks up your sleeves.
I'm not sure what you are showing in that picture. Is that a wall object? I would like to keep the front "gable" wall as a wall object for the windows but the sides will need to be angled to match the slanted side walls.
are you talking about battered walls, thicker at the base? If so chief doesn't do that yet. windows and doors just won't work with roof planes, solids. maybe some can do it but not using the standard tools.
I connected my laptop to external monitor (bspwm) and the content is cut, not filling the screen width.
If i set the external monitor as the one and only, then the panel (polybar) and windows are ok. (seems that laptop screen is managing the content of the external screen)
Seems like your screen or the windows are still set to your lap screen try xrandr -q to get the port name of your external monitor then try a xrandr --output --mode 1920x1080 to check if it works and reset your windows.
Thank you. In 1978 I bought a book with one of the first CD's with multi-media. Murmurs of Earth was about the content of the disk that is flying on the Voyager spacecraft. The disk had music and photos of things that are found on planet Earth. "Johnny Be Good" is on it. The viewer program that was on the CD was a program called gasprt.exe. It hasn't worked since windows 3.1.
The book itself is from 1978, but the CD is from 1992. There's a program called GRASPRT (the GRaphics Animation System for Professionals RunTime) that handled .GL files (I actually worked with it for several years), which was first released in 1986.
Of course you're partly correct. The book was published in 1978. To boxed set that I bought came with the cd's and they have a 1992 date on them. I think in 1978 we were using 8" or maybe 5 1/4" floppies.
