ButI can't find using "Page where text changes" to split PDF into files on Nitro Pro because some PDFs have each about 2-4 pages under one name. An agent doesn't want to use "By page range" every time to do a split because a PDF has more than 200 pages that need to split for each name. Hope to understand what I mean by what we need? If Nitro Pro doesn't have that feature, can they create one for the future? Or has a plugin like that?

Thank you for reaching out through our Community Forums!

I do not see an option to split PDF based on pages where the text changes. Nitro has Compare tool where it will run a comparison to detect changes in the document, once the pages with changes are identified, you can use the Split tool.

You can submit an entry in our PDF Pro Product Improvement page at -nitro-pro/

Other users can vote to your post should they need the same feature / function in Nitro PDF Pro.

Kind regards,

In this example, it's not possible to fully join the arglist up to one line. But it's possible to join it partially, that is, leaving the multiline tail unjoined. Thich is indicated by the dashed arrows.

The 2 commands autosplit_split and autosplit_join is best to use with keybindings, such as Alt+[ or Alt+] or any other you like. For suggested key bindings, please choose the Preferences -> AutoSplit -> Example Key Bindings menu.

I hope this problem is just me, someone else has seen this post and can help me test it if possible.

Both computers in my home have been tested with related issues, so I think it is a BUG while bringing it up

If you also have questions, I will write down my solution for the convenience of people who have the same problem as me

It is convenient for users who do not want to put pictures on the network, but can directly paste files to obsidian users quickly

Use My - Easy - Pic - Bed build local map Bed

Then upload all PNGS to the local map bed using obsidian-image-auto-upload-plugin.

In this way, even if you replace the computer, as long as obsidian and My-Easy-Pic-Bed are copied, you can use it normally on another device, without relying on network storage

This seems a way to improve the user experience for the case with tens of thousands of files in the vault. Because no one needs all the files instantly after startup, if obsidian needs more time indexing more files, why not let the indexing happens after we have started it?

I have more than 40k files in my vault currently, and 37k are images. I did economic analysis with obsidian and like the easiness with ![[Imange file name]] to quote the trend pic I need. This helps alot. But everytime Obsidian startup takes more than 2 minutes, maybe it spends the time indexing the image file names? But why it is the same everytime it startup? Why not let it just startup, and do the indexing after startup?

it stay on this loading workspace for 1 or 2 mins with my cpu around 60+% then even after i get to my notes views Obsidian.exe at ideal will hover between 13 - 18% usage by itself. more than everything else running in my system combined.

Using Git, my editor for commits is Vim. I'm constantly doing a poor job of remembering to wrap lines and so I get long lines (see this answer for example). Is there a way using some git config or .vimrc magic that I can get Vim to automatically wrap lines at 72 columns?

fugitive.vim is an excellent plugin that brings Git functionality to Vim. It has a whole host of features that aren't relevant to your question, but are worth checking out. However, it can also help you remember to keep your commit messages the proper length:

I don't think it makes much of a difference inside git-commit but it's possibly better to be safe (especially if that line ends up getting copied throughout a vimrc). Filetype is of course set to on, as it is in many example vimrcs.

* However, I was still curious as to why vim's ruler wasn't showing, so I looked at :help ruler which informs +cmdline_info (displayed after :version) needs to be set at compile time. Running :ver in vim outside of git-commit revealed different settings and a different compiled time, suggesting that git was perhaps calling the system copy of vim instead of the user one.

So what I should have done at the beginning to all this was run git config --global core.editor "vim" except I didn't because I had assumed it was a redundant step. Doing this first on every git installation might save a lot of hassle from the start!

What OhMyMN does is to simplify all this by translating all the APIs into TypeScript versions and encapsulates a lot of useful methods so that you can develop without having to touch the underlying APIs.

Finally, OhMyMN is developed entirely in TypeScript, which, together with VS Code, enables code hinting, type checking, eliminates most problems at compile time, and makes it very easy to refactor features.

Modules that use the first capability usually start with Auto, such as AutoTitle and AutoDef, indicating that they can be executed automatically on excerpt (this is not by default though. You need to turn on Auto Run When Excerpting . Modules that use the first capability usually also use the second capability in order to handle cards that already exist.

The second and third capabilities are also often used together, for example, for copying, searching, and exporting. They have a common name - Action. The actions of all modules are in MagicAction for Card and MagicAction for Text. The button, when clicked, performs the corresponding action.

Deactivating OhMyMN in the plugin settings will clear the config . If an error causes a crash, you can disable and re-enable the plugin. Of course, in most cases, there is no need to clear the configuration since it will be very inconvenient to reset it.

If you are highlighting content, MarginNote will reacquire the new excerpt content, which will nullify the OhMyMN processing. After highlighting content, you can re-process the excerpt by slightly modifying the excerpt selection.

After highlighting content, two * s will appear on both sides of the highlighted content captured by OhMyMN, e.g. *This is the highlighted content** . Please pay extra attention when doing operations such as replacing, filtering, extracting, etc.

After using the Split Versions Apart function, some movies are merged back together without my knowledge. Everyday I notice items missing from collections so I have to split them again and then add them back into the collections that they were in. Is there a way to lock them apart or am I misunderstanding this function?

For most movies I keep versions joined and select them using the drop down menu as intended but in this particular instance they are different edits of the movie so I like to have them displayed separately with their own individual poster art.

Trakt plugin in a nut shell will sync your Emby Server's watch status for a user to the trakt.tv service. The admin has to setup each user individually which requires they know the username/password for each user on trakt. Because of this it's probably mostly used just by the admin or family where the username/password would be known by the admin (or family member could type it in themselves). Some people use it as a poor mans backup for watched status and only push, not pull status.

The reason I mentioned uninstalling the plugin as a test is because it can sync watched status both ways (Emby to Trakt, Trakt to Emby) which would be updating the DB for said movies and maybe somehow causes the movies to drop from Collections. Easy enough to rule out this way.

AVP does what the built in Multi-Version does but doesn't require your movies to all be in the same folder, nor even the same library. You could have a 3D Movie lib, a 4K Movie Lib and your normal Movies and AVP can still stack them as a Multi-Version WHILE still applying the normal access restrictions. So only users who have access to the 4K lib see that version. Only users with access to the 3D lib, see them. In a nutshell it combines any movie with the same IMDB ID if you want to think of it that way.

If you only have one server the Trakt plugin is only needed if you need to restore the watch status after a server crash of some kind. There are other ways to do that but I find for my use and with only me as a user then Trakt works easily and well.

I have nine versions of Star Wars in a folder, for each version, I've edited the title field in metadata, changed the poster art and added them to a collection. When I return later in the day to view the collection, only 3 versions are displayed. I click one version and choose Split Versions Apart, refresh the browser and it displays all nine. I've done this about 10 times since last night. I also can't seem to get the extras to stop showing in the main movies library, this doesn't happen with other movies, but, I assume, that may be a separate issue.
