Well, gents, now that Christmas is (sort of) behind us, how about Saturday, January the 26th for our Fredericksburg meetup?  I told Josh/YourCure that our meetings are typically in the afternoon, so I imagine we'll get together in the same sort of time frame between lunch and dinner.  Hopefully that will give us the option to get a meal together as well if we like.  http://www.christchurchspotsy.com/Facilities/Allsaintshall.html is the location.

I think we said we'd like to do a mix of combat and mining again, so I'll do my best to have the rules tightened up on the microfleet site by then - I've started in on some of my to-do list, but there's plenty more to do/simplify before we meet next.  So, any feedback on rules, what we'd like to do for the meeting, how we'd like to convene and get up to Fred and back, etc would be welcome - looking forward to getting together soon!

January 26th and the described times should work for me. Fredericksburg would be a great halfway point for me. Should I publicize this at WAMALUG and invite more people? How many do we plan on having?

Combat and Mining sound great. Bharani must be defended against pirate scum and their Jovian allies.

Yeah, feel free to invite some folks - if nothing else, we could start spreading the game around and you could have some locals to play with in your neighborhood.  After all, the more people who are playing this, the more eyes we'll have on it to help improve things.  It sounds like Rich, Steve, Kurt (http://www.flickr.com/photos/27872277@N02/ on flickr) and I will be coming from Richmond, YourCure will be our Fredericksburg host, and whoever you have coming from DC.

Also, since everyone's on flickr, let's try and consolidate further planning here:

The more the merrier.  It would be cool to show more people our game.

Sounds great, I will advertise at WAMALUG. Do we have improved copies of the build sheets yet? I need to work on my fleet and would love a form that could simplify the process for me. Still shaky on the way to spend the points.

We don't, but since the rules have changed enough and we're rusty enough (beyond introducing new folks to the game,) I'm going to try and get a google spreadsheet together to help build ships.  I'll also try and get a paper sheet together as well and maybe a quick reference sheet on ship building and weapons.

Defending won't be quite as easy with the new fighter rules...   ;-)

Aren't the new ship sheets on the docs page of the google site?

They are in the Files section of the website.  I am currently working on some edits on the squadron sheet and should be making them available in the next day or two.  I made some changes Steve should like.  I will also be making ship sheets available for every class of ship.  I will ensure that we have many of these printed out for our next game, and all will be available on the website in the next week or so.
