Maybe a lot of members likes the IS, i don't know. I am only speaking
for myself.
The main reason their not for me is that the flow get ripped apart.
You get into the great artwork and *boff* you get a page of cold,
boring text.
"The idea behind of the illustrated stories was that instead we do
simply
pin-ups - unconnected to each other - they would belong to a single
series,
to tell a short story or a situation our girls would get themselves
into."
I like the way you think here, turn the whole thing into a story. I
understand you're point here but compared to comics ... the IS can't
hold their ground.
"But what you think makes the illustrated stories bad? Is the fact
they
aren't inked and colored?"
This is not what sticks out to me. Yes, color gives so much more to it
so I'm all for that. After checking out you're full colored comics,
you see a pencil ... it can't compare. (But this is of course
something positive that you have set the standard so high of the
comics)
Thanks for you're work and for listening to us members
