Hi all,
After 7 years of work, the long-outstanding Legion control_replication branch has been merged to master. The updated master branch has synced to GitHub and GitLab, so you should be able to find it wherever you clone your Legion from.
This means that:
- From now on, control_replication will not be updated or maintained. Please switch to master at your soonest convenience.
- The old control_replication branch will be deleted at some point, probably in a couple of months.
- The next official Legion release will include control replication. Once this is available, you might consider switching to stable releases for your application.
- We will be removing some long-deprecated Legion APIs shortly. This should not impact anyone who has been compiling with C++ 14 or newer, since we have had deprecations notices on these APIs for many years. Unless your code is extremely old, this is unlikely to impact you. For now, you can ensure your application builds with at least C++ 14 to avoid any future disruption.
From now until the release (towards the end of March or so), it would be helpful if you could test the master branch and ensure it works with your application. As usual, please submit bug reports to:
Thanks, everyone!
