MtG and WoW THIS weekend plus YuGiOh! Regionals return!

Hey everyone,

 

I've been a bit off the regular updates the last month or so. I'll blame that on putting in ridiculous hours getting the new Madison Misty Mountain location up and running.  It came up suddenly; didn't think we'd be moving till Aug then the right set of things happened and we got a great opportunity to move quicker so we took it!  things aren't still 100% where I'd like them to be at the new place but it's coming along and hopefully the next few weeks will see leaps and bounds in finishing work now that the massive projects of JUST GETTING IN the space are done!

 

so on to the update:

 

This weekend we have 2 HUGE events in MN.

 

MtG Regionals will be at the Burnsville Misty Mountain this Saturday the 16th. all the details are here: http://www.legionevents.com/NRegionals.htm Top 4 Qualify for Nationals in Kansas City.. which will ALSO be run by Legion Events!!!

Our good friends at the Monster Den in Minneapolis have agreed to play host for WoW TCG Realm Championships.  this event has a Minis Championship as well as great TCG events all weekend long. We start with an LCQ at Misty in Burnsville Friday night before the rest of the event moves to the Den.  all the details including the INSANE prizes are here:http://legionevents.com/WoWRealmChamp.htm There'll be a bunch of Spectral Tigers given away as well as PS3s and iPod Touch...es?  iPods touch? hmmm how does that pluralize... anyway... should be an awesome event for anyone interested in the wow games.

 

and for the news Duelists around the country have been waiting for... YuGiOh! Regionals are BACK! Here's a few details:

 

Invitations:

The Bad news: KDE is not able to honor the invitations won through Upper Deck operated Regionals.

The GOOD news: the new structure for the Regionals is quite different. and these kick off events are Qualifying the TOP 32 PLAYERS! that's right, Top 32 players Qualify AND invitations pass down! 

 

Entry Fee:

The Bad news: Entry fee is increasing from $15 to $20.

The GOOD news: with every entry you get 5 packs of the latest set. BOOM. Just for entering the event! PLUS there will be additional prizes for top 16 with Top 8 receiving new Regionals Playmats and Top 4 receiving Best Buy Gift cards!!!!!
