My need for Eric has played out so you're back to getting your event updates from me!  This weekend is pretty quiet for us, but then, we've had a busy summer! 

 

Legion Events is proud to host the first of the Magic TCQ: TCGPlayer $250,000 series qualifier event in Minneapolis THIS weekend, Sept 4th. http://magic.tcgplayer.com/TCGplayer_Championship_Series/ The event will start at 11:30 am (nice and late, so you can sleep in!) and is a $25 Standard Constructed event with a $300 first place plus packs based on attendance.  the IMPORTANT part though is not the $300, which is provided as a travel stipend to you. No, the REAL prize is the TCQ Points that qualify you to play in the TCGPlayer.com championship next summer for your share of $86k in cash prizes! TCGPlayer.com will be hosting $10k event weekends ($5k Standard, $5k Sealed) at Wizard World Conventions around the country in the upcoming year, and are culminating that series with the huge event at Wizard World Chicago next year!

 

We'll be running our next TCQ in Madison on Sept 18th, so there's a little heads up for you on that one.

 

If Cards aren't your thing, Misty in Madison will be hosting it's semi-monthly Warhammer Fantasy tournament. $10 entry, 220o points, with GW Supported prizes!

 

While the TCQ is running in Madison, Minneapolis will have it's first YuGiOh! Regionals of the new season.  That's September 18th at Misty Mountain North. Come on out and be the first in your group to get your 2011 Nationals invite! $20 entry gets you 5 packs at the door plus all the regular Regional stuff like playmats and binders plus we'll throw in some more packs as well!
