Hey folks!

 

WOW what an October I had. I rolled straight from the Zendikar prerelease into my wedding into running WoW Worlds sides in Austin to running the PT Austin sides into my honeymoon! I was home for a grand total of 4 days in October, 2 of those being the last 2 days of the month!

 

We're back online and ready to roll into the winter events though and SO much going on!

 

We're continuing to support Chaotic events and these events are growing as we go. Stay tuned for Legionevents.com for up to date info on Chaotic! 

 

We've also been hosting Pokémon events in both Misty stores which are being run by non Legion events guys, Jeff Prentiss from outpost runs the MN stuff and Troy Leske from LaCrosse is running the stuff in Madison.  Attendances are growing for these awesome events well and thanks to the guys running the events! you can find all the details on Pokémon events at: http://www.midwestpokemon.info/ 

 

we've got the new wave of Yu-Gi-Oh! regionals starting up, first one ran in Minneapolis recently and we've got Sioux Falls and Madison on deck. Sioux Falls will run on Nov 21 at the brand new Dragon's Den Store soon to be located on 41st St in an even bigger venue and Madison will run on Nov 7th, this weekend!

 

And just a mere 10 days away, Magic Grand Prix Minneapolis!!!! We've got artists Franz Wohwinkel and RK Post coming out as well as Ken Nagel from WotC R&D (he's the lead designer on the next set, Worldwake, coming out in February!).  RK did the artwork on the free sleeves and deckboxes every single competitor will get at the event, sure we have to say "while supplies last" but I have more deckboxes and Sleeve packs made than any Grand Prix in the states has ever had for attendance, so you'll get yours for sure! none of this "first 500" stuff!

 

We've got 11 dealers coming to buy your stuff, sell you stuff and just trade with you!  Lots of choice lots of big names from Star City to Strike zone and Gaming etc to pastimes and Mr Dan Bock (obviously). Jason from dreamers/Monster Den/Lotus vault will be there as well as Damien Miller from the Milwaukee area and Adem Hotza from Chicago. Doug from Type 2 magic is coming up, as is Empire games and Troll and Toad is going to have a HUGE presence there... so many dealers!

I've also got some pretty big news about a new series of events I'm partnering with Pastimes and PES to bring to the midwest.  it's pretty exciting stuff with a pretty awesome end prize... more news on that very soon!!!!! but check back cause you're not going to want to miss it!
