Free VOIP Phone Calls for life
========================
Items Needed
------------------------------------------
1. Magicjack Adapter I used the Old Magicjack Adapter not the new Magicjack +. None the less this Hack should work with both Adaptors.
2. Any Regular Land-line home telephone.
3. A Google Voice Account and Gmail Account
4. A broadband Internet Connection
5. A Computer Laptop or Desktop computer either will work fine as long as it has USB ports to connect the Magicjack Adapter
6. And of Course telephone cord
Have all these Items and the Google Voice / Gmail accounts we are ready to start.
=============================================
1. Boot up computer establish your internet connection.
2. Connect your Magicjack USB Adapter and connect your phone line to it with your reg home land-line phone. *shutdown the Magicjack software that starts to load* We will not be using their software.
2. Login to your Gmail Account and Google Voice Account.
3. First we will setup your Gmail Settings while in Gmail goto top right of screen and click on Settings. Then to Mail Settings.
4. Now you will under settings you will see options General, Labels Accounts etc. Goto the Chat Tab and click it.
5. Should show the install options next to Voice and video chat, Install the Google Talk Plugin v2.4.6.4433 and Google Talk Plugin Video Accelerator v0.1.44.13
6. When done go back to the Voice and video chat options and set your Microphone to use the Magicjack adapter hardware and the Speakers to use the Magicjack Adapter also. Enable Echo Cancellation. Don't forget to check Enable outbound voice calling then Click save settings
7. Now Switch to your Google Voice page and click on Settings in top right then to Phones and check mark Google Chat as your preferred Call forward too. and uncheck all other forward phone numbers u may have.
8. Ok make sure your Google Voice and Gmail are both open. and Pick up your phone you should now have a Dial-Tone on your Google voice page click call and put in the number you wish to call set your Google chat as the phone to call with click connect you should have a pop-up in your gmail ringing for the call click answer button and put phone to ear you should have a phone call ringing to connect your call. You can now chat for however whenever you want for free and all incoming calls will ring in your gmail in the same manner just have to click the answer button in order to answer the call.
