Email Notifications on Windows

Recently we installed our first instance of Legato Networker, Network Edition for Windows.  Previously we have been using Solaris as our backup server.  On the Solaris, we have been able to have Legato email us the savegroup completions using something like /usr/ucb/mail.  I was wondering if anyone has a tool to use in Windows that will allow the same feature.

I use "smtpmail" which comes with NetWorker and works entirely from the command line like "mail". Some prefer "blat" which requires an install and stores it config in the windows registry.

Both requre send access to a mail server.
