system state causes windows server 2003 performance problem

Hi,

We have had this problem for a while now... whenever legato backs up
the system state of this server, the websites (running on IIS) fail to
load and terminal services becomes unavailable until the system state
is done. Basicly any service that should run, and still does run on
other servers during the system state backup, hangs until it finishes.
The server itself is running windows 2003 sp1 on an intel blade xeon 3
ghz, 2 gb ram and uses networker version 7.1.3.
Has anyone experienced the same and found a solution for it?

There is a Legato patch for this issue, have you opened a case with
EMC?

thanks this has been fixed indeed by installing the most recent
networker client
