Error -- \\Tape0 is being terminated becasue: inactivity timeouts

The error message that is listed above -- how could that firing off.

Other items backup off of Tape0, but when I try to do my MS Exchange
backup, and backup users mailboxes the inactivity timeouts fire off.

Any ideas on how to tackle?

I'm betting the short answer is that your mailbox backups are so slow
that the drives timing out due to lack of activity. Also, Mailbox
backups are horrible. Try to limit them to key users or better yet
eliminate them altogether. With the advent of recovery storage groups
you shouldn't have to do mailbox backups at all.
