Both the years India won 4 out of their 6 league matches

Both the years in the last league match India won the toss, elected to bat, and was bowled out and still India won that match

Both the years India played their last league match on 20th (20.06.83 & 20.03.11)

Both the years India played against Australia before Semi-finals

Both the years India played their semi-final on Wednesday (22.06.83 & 30.03.11)

Both the years the opposition finalist won their last match before Semi-finals by 10 wickets (West Indies against Zimbabwe & Sri Lanka against England)

And -- Both the years - INDIA WON THE WORLD CUP
