Good evening!

We write to let you know about three great events happening this week.

I. The Practical Implications of Equity and Non-Equity Crowdfunding

We are meeting this Thursday (3/27) to discuss equity and non-equity crowdfunding.  In 2012, Congress passed the JOBS Act to facilitate startup fundraising through so-called crowdfunding platforms.  We have a panel of experts to help us parse out the vices and virtues of equity and non-equity crowdfunding.  We hope you'll join us for a great primer and discussion on this extremely relevant issue.

Panelists:

Nathaniel Cotanch - Head Analyst, Rock the Post

Benish Shah - Founder/Attorney, Before the Label

Michal Rosenn - Deputy General Counsel, Kickstarter

James Fanto - Professor, Brooklyn Law School

Moderated by:

Shezi (Sheheryar) Sardar - Attorney, Sardar Law Firm

With a short intro presentation from:

Graham Travaligni - Student, Brooklyn Law School

**Please show up early to this event.  Space is limited to 60 people regardless of whether you RSVP'd.  First come, first serve!  The event will be held at:

Harvest HQ

16 W 22nd St, 8th Floor, New York, NY (edit map)
