Dear All,

In my desire of continuation of professional dissemination of information and sharing of knowledge, this time I have taken up a firing and flaming topic of, EXEMPTIONS TO PRIVATE COMPANIES FROM APPLICABILITY OF PROVISIONS OF COMPANIES ACT 2013”, to highlight the much awaited private companies exemptions placed and got approval of the Parliament and which is now awaited any moment to come into force for the better understanding of the readers.

The private companies exemptions which in recent period was the most expected and awaited developments to take place in order to relax the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 have been released today by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to become effective and applicable from that date of its notification in the Government official gazette.

It was a live expectation of all corporate, professional institutes, forums, chambers and corporate circles which always preferred to take up for discussions and deliberations with lot of concerns and apprehensions as to how to deal with this situation of complying the provisions of Companies Act, 2013 more specifically with respect to Private Companies since Private Companies are given lots of burden to comply many provisions under the new law.

In the present article, I have made a humble attempt to explain in simple language the way I have understood the provision of the exemption notification for private companies and its likely impact on the corporate sector.

I will soon reach you all with my next inputs relating to the exemptions notification for Government Companies, Nidhi Companies and Companies registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act 2013.

Let us all along with private companies enjoy and breathe to the maximum and feel liberated and extend our warm welcome to the new exemptions those are given to private companies by Ministry of Corporate Affairs with special thanks to them for their initiative.
