Public Soil Distribution at Wortman Avenue Community Garden 8/24/19

Hi All,

East New York Farms! is distributing clean soil from Clean Soil Bank and constructed top soil (a blend of clean soil and DSNY compost) as part of our East New York Healthy Soils Initiative, at Wortman Avenue Community Garden. Each person can get 5 bags of constructed top soil (or 5 bags of clean soil if that runs out). If you are looking to get larger amounts, you can bring your own containers or bags and are welcome to get more after we have finished serving everyone who has lined up. The distribution will be on Saturday, August 24th from 9 AM to 11:30 AM at the garden across from 987 Lincoln Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11208. Feel free to share with others. RSVP is not required. Soil distribution will be first come, first served. Contact me if you have any questions.
