...So this happened...last week at Messy Game Day!!! We knew it was going to be gross and messy, but never did we imagine that one of our students would turn into a Creepy Character from Spy Kids! Can you guess who it is?
We have had an amazing summer so far! This week we are busy with Jump Street on Tuesday and serving the homeless in Fort Worth on Wednesday. This coming Saturday a group of students and adults leave for Boulder, Colorado for our returning mission working with the homeless population and street ministry.
We only have a few weeks of summer left. It hurts to even say that, because it seems like its gone so fast and I have loved seeing God working in our students and families. Traveling this summer has opened my eyes even more so to the evidence of God working in our community and throughout His world. I am thankful that God is alive and active and that we are a part of His work. ...Jason
Some IMPORTANT things to know this week....
1. Jump Street. Tomorrow TUESDAY July 22nd. Meet at Jump Street on Colleyville Blvd at 10:30A. The cost is only $10 plus $$ for food if you are going to Rosa's afterwards. We will jump and then head to Rosa's around 12:30P. Parents because we do not have church vans we need your help in driving. Please drop off at Jump Street we definitely invite you stay. Please be back to pick up students by 12:30P so that we can all drive to Rosa's down the road in Hurst to eat lunch.
2. Wednesday HOMELESS OUTREACH. We will meet at Legacy at 10:30A. We will drive near downtown Fort Worth and join the "Church in the Park Ministry". We will be providing bottled waters, care packages, and lunch for the homeless in that community. Please join us for this great mission outreach here in Fort Worth! We should return sometime around 2P but we will text and contact parents of exact times on Wednesday. YOUR COST: Guys bring case of water. Girls bring granola bars.
3. Wednesday night we continue our UNDER CONSTRUCTION series. This week some of our High School Students will be discussing "Service" and their experiences this summer with serving others. Please join us at 7PM for a time of worship and discussion as we connect and grow together!

It's Not Too Late....Make Plans Now
Coming Sunday August 3rd is our last Family Night Sunday of the summer. Join us for BROOMBALL! We will meet at NYTEX Sport Center just across the street from the Birdville HS Baseball Field. Be there by 6:45P and we will play BROOMBALL from 7-8P. The cost is $10 for individuals or only $15 for the whole family! Thats a great deal! So bring your whole family! You will want to eat before you come or eat after you play! Hope you will join us.
