What Sundays are About...
Just wanted to remind everyone what we are talking about these days on Sunday mornings. Our classes continue to be awesome! This week in our classes we continued our study of the pains and hurts that we all face in life, and how we as Christians can handle them. We looked at Luke 17:3-4, where Jesus taught about the importance of forgiving others who have wronged us. It is so tough to develop the habit of forgiving others! We shared with the students that we can learn to forgive others-and ourselves. We challenged our teens to not just say, "I forgive you," but to forgive as God does-that means not holding it against the person.
During the week, take time to talk with your student about the value of examining our hearts to see if we need to be more forgiving. Here are some questions that can guide your conversation with your teenager:
- If forgiving others is so important to our relationship with God, why is it sometimes so hard to really do?
- For our family, why is forgiveness so important? Do we need to be more forgiving?
Encourage your teenager to truly forgive just like Christ forgives us-relying on his strength to do it. I regularly pray for you and your family; let me know if there are any specific needs I can pray about during this next week! ...Jason

BOULDER (Sevens) MISSION
PLEASE REGISTER by April 16th!
The trip will be July 26-Aug 2nd. This trip is for High School Students, and we can only take 15 people so registration will be 1st come. Cost of this mission is $300. Spots will be held by deposit only, plus requirements must be met in order to attend this mission. More details can be found online and at the youth board.
