MONDAY: 8P Bible Study @Jason&Cori's WEDNESDAY: 4P the ROCK opens 7P Wednesday Night Live SUNDAY: 9A School Year Sunday!   HS HONDURAS FUNDRAISER! NO this is NOT an AD for MOOYAH its for our YOUTH MISSIONS!!!! Join us at MOOYAH BURGER!  Tuesday, APRIL 30th ALL DAY. MOOYAH will donate a portion of its sales that day to LEGACY YOUTH MINISTRY HONDURAS MISSION up to 25% of the daily sales! We need your support! Take your family to dinner, take your friends or co-workers to lunch, have an afternoon milkshake after school.  And while your enjoying a fun meal remember you are also supporting over almost 40 students and parents who will be traveling to Honduras this summer to do mission work in Jesus' name!  MOOYAH is on Grapevine Hwy in NRH by Kroger. It was such a great time spent together getting away from the busyness around us to focus on our purpose and God's purpose and how He uses us as part of His plan.  Be sure to look on FACEBOOK for pictures!   YOU MIGHT MISS OUT! Tell everyone to eat at MOOYAH that day and let them know it is for Legacy Youth Honduras Mission.  We will get up to 25% of the proceeds for the day to help pay for our mission trip!   FORTRESS MISSION 2013 Here's a great way to get involved in Mission work right here in our own area. Legacy is a huge supporter of FORTRESS.  This summer our HS group will be involved with a weeklong mission project at FORTRESS.  We will be working with children, leading VBS type events, playing games, leading worship times, and more!  June 23-28. Don't miss this opportunity! Register NOW HS SUNDAY FOLLOW UP... Bible Class Last Sunday Dear HS parents...As we continue looking through the Law and the Prophets in the Old Testament, we’re examining some exciting and challenging passages of Scripture. In Ezekiel 36:26-28, our focus for this week, Ezekiel communicated God’s promise to renew the hearts of the Israelites living in Babylonian captivity. God had allowed the Israelites to be captured by Nebuchadnezzar to punish them for not remaining spiritually faithful. They had settled in to live in Babylon, blending into the culture.  We know that your teenager faces challenges to conform to the surrounding culture. We believe a strong relationship between parents and their kids is a key to helping raise young adults who get to the place where they own their faith. Here are some questions that could generate some conversation in your family this week: What are some modern-day things that cause us to get too complacent in our spiritual lives? How have you experienced “coaching” as you’ve learned to follow God? How can we as a family be spiritual coaches for one another? Please let me know if there are specific ways I can pray for your family this week. I’m committed to doing whatever I can to support you, too.
