Just upgraded to the s23 ultra from the s21 ultra and the volume for speakers and Bluetooth are way low compared to the s21 ultra any see this and know a fix. Considering returning s23 and going back to s21
For Christmas, we bought a 60" Samsung 4KHD TV and a Polk Soundbar and replaced our old Roku Express with a new Roku Ultra. We prefer the interface of the Roku as well as some of the other options offered rather than the front that Samsung has, plus husband is a creature of habit. The Roku has been working great, the remote works both the TV and soundbar with no problems except that the volume when using the Roku goes up and down by itself. We don't have that problem if we watch through the TV, still utilizing the same soundbar. Has anyone else run into this? I've tried all of the audio settings on the Roku but it's still happening. We'd love to stay with the Roku so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
This is on a Samsung TV, but it was also happening on our LG prior to this. It happens on most of the streaming services we use but it most prominent on YouTubeTV and frankly, it's horrible. Since we go back and forth between YouTubeTV and Philo, where it also happens but to a lesser extent, and does NOT happen using the Samsung interface, it has to be the Roku. I'm watching the Comet channel on YouTubeTV right now and the volume level is going up and down, up and down. There are times when I'll tune to a channel and the volume sounds like it's coming from a tin can with a lid on it. Other times, I'll try to turn the volume up a notch and the volume increases to the top limit by itself. We had similar problems with the previous Roku Express that we replaced with this Ultra and we'd hoped it was just a bad unit, but I'm thinking it must be the latest update because we didn't have any problems like this prior to the latest update coming through. This is really unacceptable frankly and after being Roku users for many years, we're considering a different streaming stick at this point.
Roku Ultra raises or lowers volume on its own. I have an older Roku and swapped it with the Ultra -the problem follows the Ultra. I blamed it on Samsung and returned a perfectly good TV to the store (and bought one at twice the price). I had Xfinity on the phone for four hours (total). I've hard-wired it to eliminate wi-fi issues. I waited on hold at Roku, finally hung up. Still no idea how to fix the problem, but I'm pretty sure I've found the culprit. Roku.
On my Roku ultra, after streaming content for some amount of time, the volume glitches and the level is either really high or really low. Restarting the stream (by pressing back and then streaming again) always fixes the issue.
It is a software issue. It never used to happen until a certain software update. The volume on the TV is not changing. The actual volume level of the stream is glitched and is either super high or super low and distorted. It happens after streaming content for some amount of time. Sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes an hour.
Changing HDMI cords didn't work. Power cycling didn't work. Changing HDMI audio setting (PCM vs Dolby) didn't work. Factory resetting my Roku ultra didn't work (it auto updates to the latest software after resetting).

I'm from Brazil and I have a S22 ultra, version with snapdragon gen1, I'm also disappointed with the sound, I compared it with my old s21 ultra and realized that the volume of the S22 is much lower. anyone else with this same problem?
We report a reflective chirped polarization volume grating (CPVG) with a dramatically wider angular bandwidth and significantly higher first-order diffraction efficiency than the holographic volume grating and surface relief grating for large field-of-view (FOV) augmented reality (AR) displays. By introducing gradient pitch structure along the beam propagation direction, the angular bandwidth is extended from 18 to 54 while keeping over 80% diffraction efficiency. We also prepare a two-layer reflective PVG and compare its performance with the chirped structure. Based on the simulation and experimental results, CPVG is a strong contender for large FOV AR displays.

The invasive Aedes aegypti is an important disease vector increasing in frequency in hot-arid regions of the USA such as the Southwest. Within hot-arid surroundings this mosquito may be confined to peridomestic locations that tend to be cooler and humid, such as in lush, irrigated ornamental vegetation surrounding homes. However, to reach these habitat refugia, ultra-low volume (ULV) applications of insecticides targeting this mosquito must retain efficacy after being sprayed from the air or street where hot-arid conditions are prevalent. We investigated the efficacy of a biologically based larvicide, spinosad (Natular 2EC), applied as a ULV in a hot-arid environment targeting Aedes aegypti. We found that this pesticide is able to penetrate this environment and has the potential to act as a residual.
In extreme hot-arid environments, percent relative humidity (% RH) may be low with temperatures over 38C (100F), and adult Ae. aegypti would die out in the open (Anderson et al. 2006). Therefore, the adults may be confined to shaded, relatively cooler, and more humid areas such as in lush, well-irrigated ornamental vegetation around homes. Such homes could be found in the southern California cities of Riverside, San Jacinto, and the Coachella Valley where Ae. aegypti have recently made incursions (Metzger et al. 2017). Abundant microhabitat for oviposition is also provided by these landscaped residential yards. These factors encourage Ae. aegypti to thrive and pose a public health risk despite the surrounding desert environment. To control Ae. aegypti, ultra-low volume (ULV) sprays of insecticides conducted from the air or the ground as part of an integrated vector management (IVM) program must be able to penetrate through the hot-arid environment and remain efficacious when they reach cool-humid microhabitats.
