Tim Horras of Philly Socialists sent me a really excellent in-depth article that deals with the nuts-and-bolts difficulties of creating a common radical left formation:

Of particular importance is lesson 10 which talks about being an organization of individuals and pre-existing membership organizations, a problem that I have yet to wrap my head around even as I advocate something along those lines.
