Update on the Season (Left Swingers)

Hey everyone - it's been a minute since I have sent a season update so here we are:

We are rapidly approaching the end of the regular season with all games needing to be completed and entered by 11:59:59pm on Friday, August 29th. For those keeping track at home (me) you must complete 10 games to be tournament eligible. Among those teams who have played and completed 10 games the top 32 make the tournament which will be played on September 13th.

Last season was our best tournament placement in making the top 8 game along with our highest seeding in team history of #13 of 32.

2022 - # 27
2021 - #30
2020 - COVID
2019 - #22
2018 to 2013 - Not tournament eligible

Now, with 12 days left there is a lot of uncertainty on where the rankings will shake out but here is our current placement (knowing 10 games need to be completed):

There is a chance we play this Thursday and it will be our final attempt to raise those standings for us. It'll be a lot of fun so I will keep you all updated on if we have an opponent.

Update on today: everyone is swerving us because they are afraid to lose and drop in the rankings...

Instead we will do batting practice, play wiffle ball, and celebrate our beloved Colin.
