Left Swingers Week #9 Details - BIG week (Please read)

Hey everyone! Hope you had a great holiday weekend and are feeling refreshed and ready for a big week ahead - please stay hydrated in A/C as much as possible as, well, it is literal Hell outside.

Our first game this week (yes, you read that correctly we have multiple games this week) is on Thursday, June 26th against the NASA 'Stros. Game location is still a WIP in progress but will let everyone know when I know!

Next up, we have our "In-Season" Tournament THIS Sunday June 29th at the West Potomac Park Fields beginning at 9am.

Here's what the draft bracket and itinerary look like so you can get a sense of timing:

• 9am: Coaches meeting
• 9:15am: Round 1 captains meet prior to game to align on rules + whether game will be reported
• 9:30am: Round 1 games begin (you can begin earlier if your teams are ready)
• 10:20am: Warning: no new innings 
• 10:40am: Expected Round 1 End Time
• 10:50am:  Round 2 captains meet prior to game to align on rules + whether game will be reported
• 11am: Expected Round 2 Start Time
• 11:50am: Warning: no new innings
• 12:10pm: Expected Round 2 End Time
• 12:20pm:  Round 3 captains meet prior to game to align on rules + whether game will be reported
• 12:30pm: Expected Round 3 Start Time
• 1:45pm: Expected Round 3 End Time

This tournament will be played with tournament style rules (meaning balls and strikes/strikeouts will be called). This will be a great experience for our team to gel and get our tournament lineups to begin to take form.
