It's been a very busy couple of months, giving presentations, keynotes and workshops all over Los Angeles county.  Some highlights were two days of "Creating Safe Space" assemblies at Palisades Charter High School (presenting to over 1,300 students), giving my Smashing Stereotypes workshops at Brentwood, Archer and Marlborough Schools and giving a keynote "Our World Of Diversity And What That Means For The Characters You Create" at the SCBWI Los Angeles Writer's Days conference.

Coming up in April, I'll be speaking on Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans and Gender Non-Conforming History to the California Teachers Association's GLBT Caucus, and moderating a panel on picture books at the 2013 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books.
