2. Lee's News
Things have been busy (good busy!) In addition to all the blogging, I moderated a panel at Brentwood School's Diversity Day (on "the Many Faces of the LGBTQ Community"), I'm working on three pieces for the 2016 Children's Writer's and Illustrator's Market, and so far so good on my New Year's resolution: I'm writing for at least an hour every single day!
3. Children's Literature, SCBWI and Publishing World Updates
In January I launched my new (and very exciting) series of interviews with literary agents, AGENTS LOOKING FOR DIVERSITY. A parallel effort to the #WeNeedDiverseBooks campaign, the idea is to help agents get the word out about their interest in representing works for children and teens with diverse characters and themes, and engage them in substantive conversations about diversity in kid lit, beyond just "yeah, it would be good to see more diversity."
You can read the first two interviews:

And the list of upcoming interviews (a new one will be posted on the first Monday of every month!) is posted in the blog's right hand column!
You can check out the blogging from #NY15SCBWI — the New York 2015 SCBWI Winter Conference — by myself and the rest of SCBWI Team Blog at the official SCBWI conference blog: http://scbwiconference.blogspot.com/
