Thetrailer for the upcoming docu-series Rainbow Rishta was unveiled on Wednesday. Taking to Instagram, Prime Video shared the over two-minute-long video, which showed six inspiring and heartwarming queer love stories. (Also Read P.I. The caption read, "To loving out loud because at the end of the day it's all that matters!" The unscripted series features stories from different parts of the country through the real-life experiences of eight people.

The trailer showed the love lives of Trinetra Haldar, Aishwarya Ayushmaan, Daniella Mendonca, Aneez Saikia, Sanam Choudhary, Soham Sengupta, Suresh Ramdas, and Sadam Hanjabam. In the video, all of them talked about love, fear, and how society views queer people. The trailer also gave a glimpse of the struggle of queer people.

The six-part docuseries is directed by Jaydeep Sarkar, along with story directors Hridaye A Nagpal, and Shubhra Chatterji. The series will give the world a unique, candid, and unflinchingly honest window into the lives of members of the LGBTQIA community. The docu-series is all set to stream from November 7.

Rainbow Rishta marks Prime Video's second collaboration with VICE Studios Production following the success of Cinema Marte Dum Tak, a modern cult classic based on pulp-cinema of the 1990s. The series will stream in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide.

The much awaited trailer of Pavitra Rishta 2 is here and it will make you fall in love with the characters Archana and Manav again. As the name suggests, the show is a renewed version of Ekta Kapoor's popular TV soap Pavitra Rishta, which ran between 2009 and 2014. While Ankita Lokhande reprises her role as Archana in the new show, Shaheer Sheikh steps into the shoes of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who played the role of Manav. On Wednesday evening, an emotional Ankita Lokhande shared the trailer of Pavitra Rishta 2 and wrote: "Pyaar aur Parivaar ke beech mein Archana aur Manav kisse chunenge (Between love and family, what will Archana and Manav chose)?"

The trailer of Pavitra Rishta 2 begins with Archana and Manav being introduced to each other for an arranged marriage. However, their love story takes a dramatic turn on their wedding day, when a misunderstanding pulls them apart. After being dragged away from the mandap, Manav and Archana reconnect with each other but their families turn out to be the biggest obstacles in their love life.

Speaking to news agency ANI on the day of the trailer release, Ankita Lokhande said: "Rarely does one do a role or a project which transforms their lives completely. Pavitra Rishta was that project for me as the love I received from the audience for Archana's character was unparalleled. So, how could I turn down the opportunity to reprise the role and continue the legacy of Archana? I am so grateful to Ekta and ZEE for reviving Pavitra Rishta and for having faith in me again. I am eager to see the audience's reaction to Archu all over again".

Meanwhile, Shaheer Sheikh hopes that the audience likes the new version of Pavitra Rishta: "It has been a rollercoaster of emotions for me - from the time I was offered the role to eventually being on set and shooting with this amazing unit. It's been a challenging role to essay, but I have given it my all. In the process of shooting the show, I realised that Manav is the most earnest and pure character I've ever played and in today's day and age, such a character is a rarity! Now I only hope that our efforts resonate with the audiences".

Producer Ekta Kapoor said Pavitra Rishta will always remain special to her: "Some shows and characters leave a big impression on you for years to come. Pavitra Rishta was one such show which impacted so many lives and received so much love and good wishes from fans across the world. There could not have been a better timing to bring back the show and honour the legacy of it. I am sure that the fans will give it as much as love and acceptance as they did to the first season".

The trailer brings back the memories of the original show as Shaheer and Ankita steps into the shoes of the middle-class couple brought together under a false pretence. While they don't want to start a relationship on the basis of a lie, they don't want to go separate ways. The trailer instantly reminded fans of SSR, however, they loved Ankita and Shaheer's chemistry. Taking to comment box, a user wrote, "What an amazing piece of show it was. I can Never think of anyone else as Manav but @shaheernsheikh ,you didn't copy him, You didn't try to be him. And that's what is the best thing here. You absolutely nailed it. Another said, "Loving the trailer. got goosebumps." whereas, a third user commented on the post writing, "I just wanted to listen the song of it and as previous now also song is so beautiful."Several others wished the cast the best for the future.

Meanwhile, the announcement of Shaheer Sheikh taking SSR's place in the show met with a sharp reaction. The cast of the show was brutally trolled and call for a ban of the daily soap was also initiated. In lieu of the same, Shaheer penned down a long note.

"Working with a team that loved & respected him immensely only adds to the genuine intent in all our hearts. Sushant, you will always be Manav. Nothing can change that & no one can replace that. I may not be as good, and I may not do justice to it like you did, but I promise to give it my ALL. #pavitrarishta2," he added.
