September's social will be all about food and celebrating the harvest at this time of year

6-7pm Food to sharecome along between 6-7pm and bring a dish to share
7-8.15pm Film We will be showing a film that investigates the search for a diet which is good for our health, the environment and the future of the planet, containing some groundbreaking scientific research and inspirational recipes.
8.15 -9pm Produce SwapCelebrate your abundant harvests, and share your gluts by bringing something along to swap, whether its produce you have grown yourself or foraged. If you don't have anything to swap don't worry, just come along and share in the harvest, and bring something along next year instead!
π Leeds Permaculture Network Socials are now held in the Leeds University Union Common Room.
DIRECTIONS(Also see attached map)The common roomLeeds University Union, Lifton Place, Leeds LS2 9JZ To find the common room: Go into the main entrance to the Union on Lifton Place, walk towards the back of the building and then go downstairs, and head towards the right. Bus: number 1, 95, 6, 56, towards Headingley. Get off at the Parkinson Steps. There is a map of the campus by the main entrance. Walking/Cycling From the station:Leeds University is a 20 minute walk from Leeds city station.Come out of the station into City square; with the Queens Hotel behind you, walk straight up Park Row. Continue up Park Row until the first major junction. Cross straight over The Headrow and continue up Cookridge Street. At the next set of lights go straight on passing Millennium Square on your left and Leeds City Museum on your right.Turn left on to Woodhouse Lane, a busy main road. You'll pass Leeds Metropolitan University on your left and our University campus begins in another 50 metres or so, on your left. CarFrom the centre of town go towards Headingley on A660 Woodhouse Lane. Go past the main entrance to the University and turn left by the Library pub, onto Clarendon Road. You can park in this area, some of the parking restrictions do not apply in the evening
