HI All,

Have you come accross Jeremy Rifkin and The Third Industrial Revolution?
His proposal to use every building as an energy power plant, connected on a
smart grid. In February 2011 members of the European Parliament endorsed
this policy<http://www.ueapme.com/IMG/pdf/EU_PARLIAMENT_DECLARATION_ON_ENERGY_AND_THE_ECONOMY_final.pdf>.
Here is a video of him talking in
Barcelona<http://rendezvous.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/10/03/jeremy-rifkin-on-clean-energy/?_r=0>,
and at UNIDO<http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=wJYuMTKG8bc>conference
2012 addressing possibilities in Africa and elsewhere, and he
was invited by the mayor of
Rome<http://www.generatinginsights.com/whitepaper/microgrids-in-rome>to
develop the system there.

Rivkin also wrote The Empathic
Civilisation<http://www.thersa.org/events/rsaanimate/animate/rsa-animate-the-empathic-civilisation>

The book The Third Industrial
Revolution<http://www.thethirdindustrialrevolution.com/>covers the
profound implications for human relationships in education,
governance etc.

I would like to link up with any interested in these proposals

Anna
